Two weeks to register for Intersectional Health Care: Cultural Humility and Reducing Health Care Disparities, a live webinar on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. EST. Over time, health care has evolved to better appreciate the nuances and needs around culture. This program will assist health care practitioners in understanding the connections between cultural competence and cultural humility. Learners will explore several concepts, including shared decision-making, person-centered care and introspection as part of daily health care practice. In addition, this course will highlight the social needs around culture and regulatory requirements that support culturally competent care. Various case studies will assist in exploring the above concepts to allow learners to discuss strategies to improve patient outcomes, access resources and advocate for the populations we serve.
