Service means being able to put others first. It's putting your own wants and needs aside for others. Service means making my country proud and giving it my all. Personal courage. Honor. Making a positive impact on my community and country. Without expecting anything back. Service means to give. In my case, to my patients. That's the calling. In the medical service, in the military; both. I chose to serve, to serve something bigger than myself and to help those who have already chosen to put their lives on the line. I would like to say thank you to all our veterans. Thank you for all that you have done for this country, and thank you for all that you've given. For putting the time and effort, putting yourself out there, being willing and able to serve. Whether we served together or generations apart. Thank you. This country has given me everything. It has given me the opportunity to become what I dreamed when I was a child. The best way to say ���thank you��� is by serving.
