Singapore launches National Aviation Safety Plan with 45 actions

Global aviation is growing strongly and as we seize opportunities for growth, the recent spate of serious aviation safety incidents around the world is a timely reminder that we must stay vigilant and not take safety for granted. To strengthen #AviationSafety and sustain safe operations of our air hub, we have set out 45 actions to be taken over the next three years as part of the new National Aviation Safety Plan (NASP). The NASP is a call to action, for the Singapore aviation sector – aviation companies and personnel – along with other government agencies and international partners to work together and review the operating environment, identify safety risks, and take coordinated actions to address them. This has to be one of the most pertinent and progressive Safety Plans of any jurisdiction I’ve seen for a while. Well done CAAS and now the hard work continues in achieving these objectives ✈️
