Southeast Asia, India, and Oceania continue to be among the world’s most promising growth markets. Despite short-term impacts such as economic slowdowns and unfavorable weather patterns, these markets continue to grow, driven by ongoing urbanization, population growth, and rising income levels. In this environment, Daikin is further strengthening its commitment to deploying differentiated strategies tailored to each local market.   First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother in Thailand. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to the Royal Family, the Government of Thailand, and the people of Thailand during this time of mourning.   Earlier this month, I visited our compressor factory in Thailand and met with senior leaders from Southeast Asia, Oceania, and India. Together, we reflected on the tremendous efforts to date and discussed current challenges as well as our future direction. The insights gained from on-site perspectives are invaluable as we plan Daikin’s path forward.   At Daikin, our focus is not on price competition but on delivering value rooted in local communities. From providing climate-appropriate solutions and enhancing energy efficiency and durability to creating air-conditioning experiences that suit local lifestyles, we aim to unlock new value through air and contribute to more comfortable and sustainable ways of living.   Our efforts extend beyond Southeast Asia, India, and Oceania.
