Welcome to "Miracle City." For one day each year, that’s what the town of Madison, South Dakota, becomes thanks to the incredible efforts of one DQ restaurant. Since 2006, the DQ restaurant based in Madison has treated Miracle Treat Day like a community-wide celebration. But this year? They made history. To mark their 20th year participating in Miracle Treat Day, owner Delon Mork and his team set a bold goal: raise $100,000 in one day to hit $1 million in total donations to Sanford Children’s Hospital. The town rallied in a big way: * 42,846 BLIZZARD Treats sold * Live music and bouncy houses for entertainment * Local businesses and pre-orders led the charge * And the Governor of South Dakota officially proclaimed Madison as “Miracle City” for the day By day’s end, the DQ restaurant raised an astonishing $163,587, smashing their goal and crossing the $1 million mark.
Astonishing commitment to do good for the most deserving! What a phenomenal story!
When you think it can’t get any bigger!!! The team amazes me!!!
Congratulations! Everyone involved should be so proud and all of us in every community should be grateful for the efforts! 💛💛
