In a recent Proof-of-Concept, we addressed a critical escrow challenge: paying a new customs agency in Africa only after goods were released and delivered. While the customer's delivery confirmation email served as our trigger, Vlayer provided the necessary cryptographic validation. By confirming the email's authenticity and extracting the unique transaction ID, vlayer Labs successfully acted as the trusted external data source, triggering the immediate release of funds to the agency. This PoC confirms the viability of using validated, external digital proof as a secure payment trigger.
