🎊 Milestone Achievement: TBM Xihe Successfully Breaks Through at Tung Chung West Station! We are proud to announce a significant milestone in our 1201 Tung Chung West Station project. Our Tunnel Boring Machine "Xihe" has successfully completed the up-track tunnel excavation at Project 1201 Tung Chung West Station! This 1,000-ton mechanical marvel - equivalent to 250 African elephants - has excavated approximately 700 meters of tunnel since January 2025, overcoming challenging geological properties including hard rock layers, mixed ground section, sub-sea section with shallow cover and alluvial cobbles/boulders.
