Energy Efficiency for Sustainable Livelihoods in Africa’s Post

🔍 #ECOWAS 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 Energy-efficient #lighting and #appliances are critical to reducing #energy costs and emissions across #WestAfrica. However, fragmented testing procedures continue to hinder market integration. In response, ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) has established Technical Working Groups (TWGs) to harmonize testing protocols, strengthen quality assurance and compliance, and enhance regional coordination. This initiative supports the development of a unified market for energy-efficient products.
