Driving Digitalization to Secure Denmark’s Maritime Future🌍 Today, we had the privilege of hosting Port of Rønne for a strategic workshop dedicated to shaping the next era of port operations 🚢. At the heart of our dialogue was one clear priority: Digitalization as the foundation for resilience, compliance, and competitiveness. Implementing advanced digital solutions is essential to: 🔐 Strengthen cybersecurity and infrastructure protection in line with EU directives such as NIS2 and CER. 📊 Enable data-driven operations that enhance efficiency and transparency across the maritime supply chain. 🌱 Support the green transition, ensuring that sustainability goals are achieved through smart, integrated technologies. These initiatives reflect Denmark’s commitment to the EU Green Deal, Fit for 55, and the ambition to maintain our position as a trusted hub for climate-neutral, digitally secure maritime logistics. 🤝 Collaboration between ports is not optional - it is the key to delivering on these objectives and safeguarding Europe’s energy and trade future. Thank you to all participants for contributing to a dialogue that matters for the industry and for Denmark’s leadership in maritime innovation 🙏. #Digitalization #Cybersecurity #EUCompliance #GreenTransition #MaritimeInnovation #EsbjergHavn #PortofRønne

Enhancing Europe’s Strategic Autonomy and Resilience One of Europe’s key strategic goals is to enhance its autonomy in defense and critical infrastructure. Partnering with private equity funds and fund of funds like ours offers a pathway to achieve this by fostering domestic industry growth, technological sovereignty, and supply chain resilience. Our investments focus on consolidating high-potential companies, developing scalable infrastructure, and establishing sovereign-backed assets such as ports and logistics hubs. This creates a more self-reliant ecosystem capable of supporting NATO operations and regional stability independently of external suppliers. Additionally, private equity partnerships facilitate knowledge transfer, innovation, and workforce development. They enable Europe to cultivate homegrown talent in advanced defense technologies, digital infrastructure, and logistics—reducing dependency on external providers and strengthening national security. By leveraging private sector expertise and capital, Europe can also better withstand geopolitical shocks and economic disruptions. Resilient infrastructure, innovative defense capabilities, and diversified supply chains collectively contribute to a more secure, autonomous continent. Partnering with private equity funds is thus a strategic enabler—driving sustainable growth, technological sovereignty, and regional resilience, all critical components of Europe’s long-term security strategy.

Excellent post event report from Steve, following the event of the year at London International Shipping Week 2025. It's clear: the momentum from London International Shipping Week is still driving change! 🚢 Our "Precision at the Port" Executive Briefing confirmed that Maritime IT Leaders are ready to move from frustration to possibility. The key takeaways from our candid discussions? - AI is a Practical Driver: Moving to predictive operations is no longer a long-term vision. We discussed a five-day rapid adoption approach to prove value and reduce risk fast. - Integration is Essential: Data silos are holding the industry back. Synchronised operations across vessels, ports, and logistics are the only way to achieve real efficiency and hit sustainability goals. - Cyber Resilience is a Must: Early insights from the 2025 EMEA Maritime Cybersecurity Survey show a growing skills gap (73%). Strategic partnerships are critical for round-the-clock protection. A major highlight was the soft launch of Maritech (developed with HPe)—a savings-led platform designed to release capital from existing IT spend and reinvest it directly into transformation. The conviction is clear: Synchronised operations are the key to a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable maritime industry.
