🎉 The results are in. And they exceeded all expectations. When we launched the DeepTech Runway Industry Challenge with NEEW Ventures and EEW Energy from Waste GmbH, we planned to invite 5 startups to pitch their solutions for transforming 5 million tonnes of CO₂ from waste incineration. The quality of applications was so exceptional that the NEEW team made an unprecedented decision: invite 11 startups instead of 5 to NLND to pitch their ideas. This is what happens when you put real industrial problems in front of Europe's brightest DeepTech minds. The response was overwhelming. Together, the 11 finalists showcase the diversity of approaches emerging in carbon utilization, spanning synthetic fuels, chemical conversion and beyond. What's next: → 11 selected startups will pitch live at DeepTech Runway on September 18th → The 2 most promising will be invited to EEW's Delfzijl facility to discuss next steps → Real CO₂. Real scale. Real industrial collaboration. This is a powerful example of the kind of collaboration DeepTech Runway is designed to spark, connecting industry leaders with the startups building tomorrow’s solutions.
