Fifth Avenue Committee is excited to announce that our affiliate Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN) has been named as one of 20 nonprofit finalists for the 2026 Brooklyn Org Spark Prize. As a finalist, NHN is eligible to receive a $5,000 matching grant for the #BrooklynGives Giving Tuesday campaign. This means that every dollar you give to NHN through the campaign will be matched by Brooklyn Org! The Spark Prize is named for Brooklyn Org’s mission to spark lasting social change in Brooklyn. The Prize recognizes organizations with a deep history of service to Brooklyn, a clear commitment to equity and racial justice, and a bold, community-driven vision for the future. This year, Giving Tuesday is on December 2nd. Powered by Brooklyn Org, #BrooklynGives is the first and only boroughwide giving campaign that drives support to nonprofit organizations and encourages local residents to donate to their community organizations.
