I signed up for an annual plan that was clearly advertised as billed monthly, but Gamma App charged the entire amount upfront on my card. When I contacted support, I was told this was “company policy,” which is completely abusive and inconsistent with what was presented at the time of purchase. Because of this, I cancelled the service. To my surprise, I was informed that there is no automatic refund, since — according to support — cancellation “is not the same” as requesting a refund, even though the charge was made incorrectly in the first place. This situation is unacceptable. It makes no sense to require customers to submit a separate refund request when the company itself charged the wrong amount. Terrible experience and a serious lack of transparency from the company.
