♻️ European Waste Reduction Week, #ActForBetterLiving in action Giving products a second life is one of the most effective ways to reduce waste and promote a circular economy. At Groupe SEB, and in line with our 2024–2030 ESG ambition Act for Better Living, we are committed to developing innovative solutions that extend product life, promote a circular economy and minimize our environmental impact. With WMF Second Life, our professional brand WMF Professional Hotel Equipment is rethinking the concept of tableware for the hospitality sector. Launched in 2024, the concept gives a new life to returned, second-hand, or discontinued cutlery, items are carefully sorted, cleaned, stonewashed, and the table knives are sharpened and laser-engraved with the “Second Life” lettering. The result? Stylish, premium-quality cutlery that embodies both durability and environmental awareness. Each piece tells a story of circularity, proving that beauty, quality, and sustainability can go hand in hand at every table. 🌿 This commitment is also shared by Michelin-starred chef Simon Tress, who embodies the Second Life spirit as project ambassador. Through his sustainable gastronomy philosophy, he highlights how responsible choices, from kitchen to table, can make a real difference for people and the planet.
