Hertfordshire County Council has invested £1.8 million in essential improvement works on the A4, a key route linking the M25 to Hemel, Berkhamsted, Tring and beyond. Using a proactive maintenance approach, our Highways team repaired potholes, addressed early signs of road surface deterioration, and applied a preventative treatment to seal repairs and restore surface texture, improving safety and extending the life of the carriageway. 8.3km of road treated in just one day, with additional drainage works planned later this year and consideration for further resurfacing near the M25 and Tring junctions. As Cllr Stephen Giles-Medhurst, Executive Member for Highways, says: “By acting early, we improve safety and avoid the kind of damage that would require lengthy and disruptive closures in the future.”
Lighting the way
3dMight want to spend on a new proof reader. Last time I checked the A4 connected West London to the West Country.
