Honda has participated for the second consecutive year in the “Girls Meet STEM” workplace experience program for junior / senior high school girls in the STEM field, organized by the Yamada Shintaro D&I Foundation. Honda has always valued the principle that “all people are equal before technology, regardless of gender, age, or position,” and is participating in this program to expand the possibilities for the younger generation who will shape the future. This year, as the first phase of the program, Honda conducted an office tour focused on the theme of excitement in its motorcycle R&D division. Participants had the opportunity to tour development facilities driven by dreams where world-class products are created, experience the latest technologies, and explore in a playful environment products created through collaboration with other industries such as games, animation, and apparel. Participants also took part in a discussion session with female engineers active in the STEM field. Participants praised the event as fun and inspiring, making it a highly successful and engaging experience. Honda will continue to create opportunities for students with ambition to discover true desires and pursue their dreams.
