𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬 2025: 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 Many have already been there – writing proposals, setting up consortia, negotiating budgets, managing across borders. But few talk openly about what really makes Widening projects work. The Pre-Conference Session on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 11, 3-5 𝐩.𝐦., hosted by HZDR as part of the international science conference “Building Bridges 2025”, offers a focused setting for exactly that: an interactive exchange among experienced researchers, project managers and funding experts. Formats include: 🔹 A moderated panel with successful coordinators from Central and Eastern Europe 🔹 World Café sessions on key challenges such as partner selection, proposal design, and project implementation 🔹 Final group feedback in the plenary Experts from national contact points in Poland and the Czech Republic will contribute, along with members of the ZEUSS - EU Service Saxony network and selected project leads. This is not a workshop for beginners, but a peer-level dialogue to sharpen practice and connect with fellow professionals.
