Is this a hobby or a business? that question makes every founder squirm. 1. Your visibility problem > Your product problem - The best product doesn't win. The most visible one does. 2. Data is your emotional armor - Makena's math approach: "If you need 5 clients and your conversion is 10%, you need 50 calls. Period." " It takes the personal sting out of rejection when it's just numbers." - Tori Magers Smith (The Welcome Standard) 3. Product-market fit = 2 clients who'd hire you again. Not 100. Not 10. TWO. If they got value and would pay again, you have a business. 4. The immediacy rule - Someone fills out your lead form on Monday? Call them MONDAY. Not next week. They're shopping right now and your competitor is already dialing. 5. Simplify - "One or two offerings on your marketing. That's it." - Makena Finger Zannini (The Boutique COO) Stop giving people a restaurant menu when they just want to know if you can solve their problem. Sometimes building a sustainable business means charging for the value you're already delivering. What free work are you doing that someone would actually pay for? AI won't kill your business. Obscurity will. Here's how to stay in demand even in an AI world: Most people are scrambling to figure out what AI is going to destroy next. But they’re ignoring the real problem: nobody knows they exist. Last year, I worked with a technical agency stuck earning $400k per year. Brilliant team. Great work. No growth. We changed one thing: the founder stopped hiding and started building a personal brand. He posted twice a week on LinkedIn, joined key conversations, and ran a simple webinar every month. 6 months later, their pipeline doubled. Inbound leads replaced cold outreach. Clients paid more. The work didn’t change. The visibility did. This works in consulting, agencies, software—even boring businesses. - A HVAC expert teaching local energy hacks online - An accountant sharing 60-second tax tips - A SaaS founder documenting the product journey The secret? Become a known expert in your space. Winning work beats doing work. Every time. Start tomorrow: write one quick post about the #1 problem your ideal client deals with. Then show how you help. Obscurity is expensive. Attention is your best asset.

My role is helping founders exit with maximum value whether they’re in manufacturing, hospitality, or professional services. You know what this means: no algorithm can replicate the trust, negotiation, and human judgment that go into a successful sale. But AI? It’s already changing the way I work. → It scans industry data in minutes, saving hours on market research. → It benchmarks valuations faster using 30,000+ transaction records. → It sharpens reports and marketing so buyers instantly see value. Real example: Last quarter, we worked with a founder who expected a $2.5M sale. Using AI-driven benchmarking, we uncovered comparable deals they hadn’t considered. That data gave us leverage, and the final offer landed $400K higher than initial bids. That doesn’t replace me. It frees me up to focus on what actually moves the deal forward: • Building stronger relationships with owners • Having transparent conversations with buyers • Creating handover strategies that give everyone confidence Because selling a business isn’t about spreadsheets. It’s about people. Trust. Vision. Alignment. AI won’t replace human connection in business sales. But brokers who learn how to use it will deliver more value, more consistently, and at scale. Ignore it, and you’ll fall behind. Leverage it, and it will amplify everything that makes you good at what you do. 🔥 What changed in October that added 15 new sub-accounts to my agency? For 90 days, nothing. No new clients. No new momentum. Then I got out of the house and back in the room. I started talking with business owners instead of at them. And guess what I learned? They didn’t just want AI. They wanted clarity, simplicity, and control — a system that helps them manage their business, not just automate it. That’s when I went back to what works — ✅ Business in a Box Level 1: Prospect & Reputation Management ✅ Level 2: AI Voice for pre-qualifying and booking appointments ✅ Level 3: AI Lead Capture to identify real visitors on your site Once I shifted my focus back to their needs, everything changed 15 new sub-accounts in 30 days. Now I’m going for 15 more in November. So let me ask you… 👉 Which level of Business in a Box would help your business most right now? Drop your answer below: Level 1, 2, or 3 — and tell me what you’d really pay for a system that actually moves your business forward. Because when you start listening again… growth follows.

Stop trying to clone yourself to scale your business. I've discovered 4 AI agents that turn solopreneurs into one-person unicorns. Here's my essential AI team setup: 1. The Sales Agent → Handles every customer conversation → Books meetings while you sleep → Follows up faster than humanly possible → Qualifies leads 24/7 2. The Service Agent → Manages all customer support → Solves common issues instantly → Keeps satisfaction scores high → Never drops a single request 3. The Marketing Agent → Creates content that actually converts → Repurposes posts across platforms → Analyzes what works and what doesn't → Keeps your brand active around the clock 4. The CEO Agent → Monitors finances and key metrics → Tracks project progress automatically → Flags problems before they explode → Gives you the big picture without burnout These aren't complex systems - they're your new team members. They work while you focus on strategy and growth. Think about it: → Sales agents bring deals in → Service agents keep customers happy → Marketing agents grow your audience → CEO agents run operations smoothly ☑ The result? A one-person company that operates like a team of ten. Train them once. Connect them properly. Let them handle the rest. Which one would you implement first in your business?! Comment below 👇 (and maybe I will share the templates 😉)

Most sales conversations sound the same: “What's your budget?” “When do you want to start?” “Any questions about the proposal?” Lazy. Ineffective. Revenue-killing. The truth? The questions you ask determine the size of the deal. Instead of budget talk, ask: 👉 What happens if this problem isn't solved? 👉 Who else is impacted by this issue? 👉 What would success look like 12 months from now? That's how a $15K website project becomes a $75K transformation. Same client. Same need. Different conversation. Your revenue isn't capped by your services. It's capped by the quality of your questions. 👉 Download the AI Advantage Guide to unlock the 5 questions that triple the deal size in comments.

Is this finally passive income? This project was one of my personal favourites, because we managed to FULLY automate an entire business. This particular AI/automation setup includes: ✅ Answer every call instantly ✅ Handle questions about the business ✅ Send location links via SMS to help customers find the site ✅ Send payment links, collects payment, and triggers contract signing ✅ Notify the security team automatically once access is granted All without a single human involved Now, not every business can (or should) be fully automated but imagine having an AI agent that can handle every conversation, phone call, answer questions, process payments essentially handle manage most of your admin, sales and support That’s more time doing what you like doing. More time growing your business. Less missed calls, more leads closed. And less money wasted on inefficiency. If you’d like to see what this could look like for your business or just have a casual chat about what AI agents and automations could transform your business, drop me a DM for a free demo. Back

Client: Steph, can you help us build a more aggressive funnel? We want faster conversions without involving sales team.. (so we can replace them or pay them lower and put them to other use - use ads, automation, AI…) 👩💼 Me: I could… but are you sure that’s what you really need? (They look puzzled.) 👩💼 Me (continued): Here’s the thing.. what used to work doesn’t work the same anymore. People don’t want to be closed. They want to be understood. And most funnels today are designed to sell, not to build trust. Client: But we still need to hit our targets. 👩💼 Me: Of course. But let’s give ‘close’ a better meaning. Hitting sales goals doesn’t have to mean using outdated, manipulative tactics. There are 100 ways to sell - why choose the one that makes your audience feel icky? (Silence. Then a slow nod.) 👩💼 Me: And sometimes, I open the door and welcome clients out. Because businesses that don’t believe in building trust are heading for harder days ahead. Information is everywhere. Customers have tons of choices. The only thing that’s scarce now - is trust. and the heart that cares.. Client: So what do we do instead? 👩💼 Me: That’s the real question most businesses skip. Everyone’s busy chasing the latest AI or automation tool or shining funnel, but few are asking How are we creating trust, better? What’s the workflow to build it? What can be automated, and what must stay human? Because the future isn’t human vs. AI It’s human trust + AI efficiency. When trust leads, sales follow. Always. ♻️help to reshare this so others or your team could learn from this too

𝗔𝗜 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁. Only some are picking up the pace. After my last post about AI monetization (in the 1st comment), colleagues asked me: “Okay, but what does selling results actually look like?” Good question, no doubt. So, I went digging 👇 𝙏𝙇𝘿;𝙍 A new era is already here. You don’t pay for access anymore, you pay for outcomes. And some companies are already building around that idea: 🧠 Fetcher Moves beyond “per seat” pricing. They emphasize results and efficiency on their website, calculating how many hours and money were saved. 💬 ada CX Their focus is shifting from charging per interaction, to charging for resolution and satisfaction. They’re building pricing around outcomes, not chat volume. Mike Murchison, CEO & Co-Founder “The big change for us has been really zeroing in on the core unit of value that Ada provides its customers and monetizing that.” 🤝 Help Scout Help Scout’s approach is simple: you pay for the impact, the customers helped. Not just for headcount or ticket volume. Andrea Kayal, CRO “My job as CRO is to think of new ways for growth, and consumption-based pricing was both a better value metric and economic engine.” This shift isn’t theoretical. It’s already happening. From charging for access to charging for impact. 💬 Know any other good examples for this outcome-based approach? Share, it's super interesting to learn how big this trend is. *I’ve included examples showing how this outcome-based approach is already reflected in these companies’ materials and messaging.
