💨 Steam power for Project ONE: from start-up to back-up The next in our short series showing the ongoing construction of Project ONE in the summer. 💪 Two impressive steam boilers, built in Venice and now installed in Antwerp, form the heart of Project ONE’s energy system. Together, they can deliver nearly 400 tons of steam per hour - essential during the start-up phase. Once the Project ONE cracker is running at full capacity, it takes over steam production itself. But the boilers remain on standby: ready to step in during a power outage or technical issue to ensure a safe shutdown or restart. 🎥 In this video, colleagues explained how the steam boilers contribute to the safe, efficient and sustainable operation of the installation. 🌍 INEOS is investing €4 billion building Europe’s most sustainable cracker in the Port of Antwerp – by employing the best available technology, it will set completely new standards for environmental performance from day 1. cc.
