Working with this group of security leaders this week was an honor. Sharing the principles we talked through - accelerating to keep pace with upcoming innovation cycles requires leaders to consider four key elements beyond their strategy: 1) An organizational structure focused on what we want to stay focused on instead of just what we do, 2) Consistent routines that build clarity and cultural flexibility and resilience, 3) Empowerment of talent that drives and recognizes technological literacy, and 4) Deliberate provisioning of space and time for experimentation and innovation. Adaptation to, and innovation for, the future cannot be reserved for executive leadership; executive leaders need to work differently now or risk being (quickly) left behind. Thank you to Steven Gutkin for this opportunity and your support this week.
