🌸 A surprise afternoon tea at the hospice. 🍰🫖 This week, one of our patients surprised her husband with a beautiful afternoon tea at the hospice. ❤️ The couple first met in January 2011, sharing their very first date over champagne afternoon tea in the Cotswolds. Since then, they have returned every year to mark the anniversary of that special day — and even chose to marry on the same date. ✨ As January approaches again, our patient wasn’t sure she would feel well enough to continue the tradition. After hearing her story, one of our nurses suggested bringing their anniversary tea forward and hosting it here at the hospice. Our catering team lovingly prepared a homemade spread, which the couple enjoyed together in the privacy of our patient’s room. 🥰 This is just one wonderful example of how our team helps to make every moment matter.
