It’s Summer at Laennec. Located in the 7th arrondissement, 40 rue de Sèvres housed the Laennec Hospital until 2000. Built in 1632, the former hospital devoted half the space to gardens, in the style of the great Parisian medical institution. Drawn to the site’s singular architecture and rich history, among other features, the Group embarked on an ambitious renovation project. Kering chose an inimitable site owing to its exceptional architecture and extremely rich past. Indeed, it meant a major challenge to bring life back to 17,200 m² immersed in nearly four centuries of history, and give it a new purpose. Photo credits: Eric Sander #40Sevres #CreativityIsOurLegacy

J'ai adorée travailler dans ce lieu magique
A beautiful example of how history and innovation can coexist. 🌿 Reviving heritage spaces with new purpose reflects the same values we believe fashion should carry — honoring the past while building a more sustainable future.
Spaces like Laennec remind us that fashion thrives at the intersection of heritage and reinvention. At StyleNexus8, we build on this idea with AI and AR tools that preserve legacy while shaping the future of shopping experiences.
Magnifique!
So pretty.
Kering's vision to honor such a rich history and give this exceptional site a new, modern purpose is a beautiful testament to the company's respect for heritage and its leadership in the luxury industry. The blend of past and future is simply magnificent
