From the magistrate judge (striking the pleading): Fed.R. Civ. P. 12(f)(1) allows a court to “strike from a pleading an insufficient defense or any redundant, immaterial, impertinent, or scandalous matter.” Use of this dragon cartoon logo is not only distracting, it is juvenile and impertinent. The Court is not a cartoon.

I wonder how much they billed for that filing

Truly when will the court's trampling of First Amendment rights cease! Hopefully they appeal on the basis of "I thought this was America."

"Use of this dragon cartoon logo is not only distracting, it is juvenile and impertinent." That's what the judge wrote, and of course he's right. But it's also hilarious and weirdly wonderful in its own way.

I kind of admire them, this is cool

So, we have the highest court in the land giving carte blanche for the President to commit crimes; and here we have a federal court bent out of shape over a watermark on a pleading. That's called "fiddling while Rome burns."
