I went from 0 interviews to 13 interviews And I didn't change any of my qualifications. Instead I focused on these 3 things: 1️⃣ SHORTER = BETTER Recruiters spend 10-30 seconds looking at a resume. That means they don't read it, they scan it quickly. My resume used to be 872 words long. I got 0 interviews with it. 💡 Studies show 350-550 word resumes tend to land the most interviews. So I reduced my resume to 498 words (see my previous post) and my interview rate instantly went up. 2️⃣ DIFFERENT > BETTER To stand out from the 750+ candidates, I decided I needed a better "hook." I deleted my long resume summary paragraph. I replaced it with this: "Content wizard, digital marketer, writer, worked at Emmy award-winning production studio, beat Mark Zuckerberg at hockey." ☝ I got asked about that Zuckerberg story in every interview 😅 3️⃣ QUICKER KEYWORDS Contrary to popular belief, ATS doesn't use AI to grade your resume. Instead, it's the recruiter searching their ATS for specific keywords. 💡 To make sure I show up in search results, I added 15 more skills to my skills section. This reduced my customization time from 1 hour to 15 minutes since I could just replace those skills instantly. 👉 Job searching in 2025 is a lot more technical than before. It's just as much about HOW you present your qualifications as the qualifications themselves. So try this: ↳ Keep your resume to 350-550 words ↳ Write a unique resume summary ↳ Add at least 25 skills to your skills list You CAN 100% get hired in this market. It just requires a slightly "unique" approach 😉 ________ P.S. If you'd like to learn more about these 3 strategies, give my profile a follow and next week I'm doing another free resume workshop. _ #resume #hiring
