We were fortunate and had a group of incredibly talented interns join us for the summer. Olivia Guinn was one of them and we’re glad that her #Knapheide story isn’t over yet! As my internship as a Manufacturing and Facilities Engineer for Knapheide wrapped up this past week, I am proud to reflect on all of the amazing experiences and growth I have had these past months. While working for Tyler Marquess, I had limitless opportunities to truly make a difference at Knapheide. I was given two main projects- the Northeast Expansion in Quincy, ll. and assisting in managing the development of multiple new Knapheide Truck Equipment Centers around the country. One of my favorite highlights was managing several key projects for the NE Expansion. This mainly included managing multiple contractors and equipment installs. I had the opportunity to lead some of the weekly touch point meetings and managed daily progress reports. I also was given the task of implementing a new automated floor sweeper! I am incredibly grateful for the mentorship and support from my team. It is truly amazing what you can accomplish with a dedicated boss and helpful team. Everyone truly wanted to see me succeed. I could not have been more lucky to be a part of a group like this, and cannot wait to stay on part time this fall!
