The FSRA of ADGM has published a Discussion Paper indicating its direction of travel on a number of strategic considerations in relation to its regulatory framework for insurance. These have arisen as part of an ongoing, holistic and fundamental review of that framework, which is designed to establish ADGM as an international hub for reinsurance. The Discussion Paper highlights those areas where the FSRA will be introducing significant enhancements to its regulatory framework for insurance, with the objective of implementing a more risk-sensitive approach to the regulation and supervision of the sector. The Discussion Paper may be viewed via this link, with the period to provide comments closing on 16 February 2026. We look forward to receiving your feedback. Thanks to my colleagues John Carroll, Abid Zaaman, James Lake, David Barker, Zahra Dawood, Maryanne Scicluna and other P&L, FSRA and ADGM team members for their efforts in developing our proposals. #uae #abudhabi #adgm #fsra #financialservices #regulation #regulations #insurance #reinsurance #IAIS #internationalstandards #risks #riskmanagement #capital #prudential #riskbased #engagement #consultation #collaboration #capitalofcapital #falconecomomy #ADFW
