Today, we had the opportunity to visit two schools that are very different than other traditional schools. Um, we had the chance to bring our mission and vision team to the schools to glean ideas from the teachers, to observe classrooms, and to fig- find ways that we can incorporate, um, different opportunities and strategies in community-building, um, opportunities into our school with our preschoolers through eighth grade. Anytime that you have the opportunity to check out another building that has, uh, longevity and success... I mean, both the schools that we s- saw today, have been around for decades. And at some point, they were doing mission and vision work, trying to find their way in the education world. Um, and in a climate where there's, uh, hundreds of options for families for school choice, we wanna find something that sets us apart from everybody else, and makes us a unique opportunity for families to choose. Today, we had the opportunity to see grades kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. And we heard overwhelmingly the need and desire and want from, uh, students and teachers, for a tight-knit community, building, relationships across multiple grades, um, having continuity in their staff so that a s- uh, student that comes in at, uh, say, uh, sixth grade. or ninth grade and goes through eighth grade or 12th grade, um, they have those familiar faces every year. And they have somebody that genuinely cares about them and knows them and has, a positive relationship with them.
