More diversity > less diversity. Richer pool of insights, perspectives, and experiences produce smarter outcomes. Besides, winning is more fun as a team! My name is Sam and I'm going to join you, Leidos squad! 👨🦰

I feel like sometimes as a minority female I am in a complicated situation. The tension between what is right and what is preferred, especially in a professional context where diverse attitudes and societal norms come into play, is deeply challenging. It seems you’re wrestling with how to navigate environments where cultural differences might not only affect your comfort and safety, but could also risk your position or reputation if you speak up.It’s about weighing personal integrity against professional consequences, especially when the support system (like witnesses or clear documentation) may not be there.Concerns about being seen as a “disgrace” or “problem”…it’s important to remember that pushing for a better quality of life and advocating for yourself isn’t a weakness or a problem. Sometimes, it’s just the reality that progress requires uncomfortable conversations.
