👋 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, Frank Ruschmeier 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 Here are my three key takeaways from discussions with the regional electronics and semiconductor media landscape: 𝟭. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮-𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀. With a local organization in China since 2008, #BoschSensortec is committed to be close to our customers and ecosystem partners to ensure shortest cycles and fast time to market. The region is a key driver for smart sensing innovation — particularly in fast-growing areas like AIoT. We strongly support this momentum with tailored solutions and strong local collaboration. 𝟮. 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗴𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴. By combining MEMS #sensors with embedded microcontrollers, software, and AI, our solutions bring intelligence into everyday devices — from personalized health tracking in wearables to new emerging applications in humanoid robotics. 𝟯. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻. Smart sensors do not only collect data but also process it locally on the sensor — removing the need for constant cloud connectivity. This approach not only reduces latency and power consumption but also helps protect user privacy, a growing concern in today’s connected world. Thanks again to all who joined our conversation on the future of intelligent #SensingSolutions! I look forward to continuing these dialogues.
This was my second time attending Sensor Shenzhen, and it was another outstanding experience. The event and our Bosch booth provided excellent opportunities for customer engagement. The Bosch Sensortec team demonstrated remarkable passion and expertise throughout. I am proud to be part of this amazing team and to collaborate with our customers in driving consumer electronics innovation forward.
Thoughtful post, thanks Lucas. And Frank Ruschmeier is a very visionary leader as well :-)
