Empower Work launches innovative program with #TruistFoundation

Partnership is powerful. Empower Work recently announced that it is launching an innovative workforce collaboration to help expand its unique workforce development initiative. This first-of-its-kind program combines text-based coaching with comprehensive resources to support workers during times of crisis. Empower Work provides real-time advice to individuals experiencing a range of work-related emotional issues. Over the next two years, #TruistFoundation is investing in Empower Work as they partner and collaborate with leading local and national workforce communities – including several past @Truist Foundation grant recipients – to provide continuous support for workforce training graduates, ensuring success at every career stage. This innovative partnership model approach exemplifies our commitment to bridging the opportunity gap and advancing economic mobility in our communities. When we invest in people's potential, we create lasting positive change.

Thank you! Lynette Bell Per Scholas learners and staff are so grateful for this collaboration

Partnership is powerful indeed. Thank you Lynette for your support for this work. It's been incredible collaborating with the Truist team to learn and improve opportunities together with SkillUp Coalition, NPower, Year Up United, MAM Houston, and Per Scholas.

A lot of folks talk about collaboration -- but the partnership Lynette Bell and her team at Truist have forged with Empower Work and so many excellent training organizations is about action. And we've seen first-hand how our alumni at NPower are benefitting. Thank you!

Thank you! This partnership provides an exciting tool to engage NPower alumni in support of their career journey.

This is very interesting. Patrease Douglas and Neils Ribeiro-Yemofio I wonder whether text-based coaching is a concept that makes sense for LIFT, Inc., which has a similar mission to advance economic mobility.

Love the focus on ensuring that economic mobility outcomes are met after placement in living wage jobs-- important work Jaime-Alexis Fowler!

It's great learning about the text based coaching concept and how it's offered at critical junctures with anxiety about jobs and income. Love this - "workers who connect with the text line typically see a 25% boost in economic security." I'm working in an economic development collaboration with a new Latino fund and an SBA org and will share this.

Thank you Lynette Bell, through this partnership, we can broaden the support available to our graduates, helping them navigate their careers with confidence while fostering their personal and professional growth.
