With 39,255 fans per game, Father's Day marked the highest average Sunday attendance for Major League Baseball since 2008. In addition, the weekend's total of nearly 1.7 million fans was the second-largest 45-game weekend in 17 seasons.

2moThank you MLB for implementing the new rules. This alone has saved baseball from all the useless time wasting methods, where so called professionals think these strategies will somehow get their opponents off their game. Really? If you are playing the game at the top level possible, just play, don't think. Just do!
