Melina Weigel’s Post

I’m more than happy and grateful to share that I’ve started my MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology in the LSE Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)! 🎉 What still feels like a dream became reality more than three weeks ago, and I know this wouldn’t have been possible without all the amazing people who supported me along the way. A big thank you to: - Prof. Dr. David Weber, my bachelor’s thesis supervisor and writer of one of my academic references - Prof. Dr. Eleonore Soei-Winkels, Founder, CEO, Creator, Mompreneur, my lecturer and second writer of my academic references - My wonderful team at NAP! Gesunde Arbeitskultur für Unternehmen., especially Dr. Neşe Oktay-Gür and Fee Kalter, for always believing in me and supporting my dreams as if they were their own - My incredible friends and family, who continue to cheer me on from across the ocean Over the coming year, I’ll be taking core courses in Contemporary Social and Cultural Psychology and further developing my methodological skills in both quantitative and qualitative research. My main academic focus, and the topic of my dissertation, will be in Political Psychology, exploring themes such as inequality, intergroup relations, and dialogue in contexts of conflict and negotiation. I hope to later contribute to a world in which everyone feels safe and welcome. 🙌🌍
