OK, no shave November. Here we go with our weekly update #4 I've got Zampona here on the on the FaceTime. We could kind of flip flop. A couple weeks ago I was in Florida, he was up here, now he's in Florida. I'm up here right now from sunny Florida, Sunny Florida. What are you, Florida you in? Vero Beach area, nice little family Thanksgiving vacation. Let's see, you have a T-shirt on. So I'm assuming the weather's a little bit nicer there than it is here. It's probably 83��. Nice. All right, well, first, First off, we have to start out the videos talking about football. And unfortunately both of our teams lost yesterday. Eagles, Eagles dropped one to in Dallas and the Steelers dropped on the Chicago right. Yes, and it was very sad for me. Yeah, whole thing said. So we so we won't spend a lot of time talking about that. Let's talk about. OK. So on Saturday we had the dash for the stash was our first annual dash for the stash. We had 140 participants. So remember last week we were talking about 107. We ended up with 140. It was really fun. I think you know, how'd you do? I finished, you know, I, I think I, I play second in my age group. I don't know how many people were in the age group, but I, I finished second it. And as I predicted, it took me somewhere between 30 and 30 minutes and then an hour, a little closer to 30 minutes. Them, you know, I could walk the next day. So but it was a good fun event, very good. And I think that it's definitely something we'll do next year. But let's talk about some other community partners are out there working hard. Let's talk about Castle rigged wine bar down in Carlisle. So they have a three wines, 10 point wine, Laurel run red and the Ravens roast, which sounds like coffee, but it's a it's a a wine. And in the month of November, if you go to Castle Rig wine bar and you get one of those 3 wines, they're going to contribute. 10% of the proceeds of any of those sales to the no Shave November. So that's great. You should go do a wine tasting when I get back. Well, you're going to have to get back soon. I mean, it's, you know, we only have six days left. That's true. So Castle Rig wine bar down in, in Carlisle. Who else do we have? We have a couple local high schools, right? Yeah, we have Trinity High School, my alma mater, They are repeat participants this year. And we have Bishop Mcdevitt, you're on the matter. It's awesome to partner with the both of those guys every year and they're doing like dressed down fundraisers. You know, the students are contributing and and they made meaningful contributions last year and I think that they'll do so again this year. How about we like, we've had a lot of luck with VFW. So we've had to Halifax VFW, which we talked about before, but we also have a. Second VW, right? Yep. The Grass VFW is a participant and you know, we're looking forward. They're doing a bunch of stuff up there and you know, just to raise a bunch of money, they make a contribution at the end of the month. So we're looking forward to that. Nice. And who else do we have today? Uh, we have be the light, be the light. Ohh, the candle company. No, that's one of our employees in a coal straub. Right. And they have some some really cool no shade themed candles that you can purchase a little set of three of them. They're pretty optimal them. They're very nice. Yeah. So you can either buy one or two or all three and a portion of those proceeds go to those shave November. And so all the community partners are out there, there, you know, we focused on two or three of them every week. I think we've covered just about all of them at this point and they're all out there working hard and I think that we're going to get some nice contributions before the end. But as of today, and we're, we've got about 6 days left in the month of November. Our total so far, as we predicted last week is about 250,000. So we're 250,000. Our overall goal is 350,000. So we, we now, you know, we got six days to raise another $100,000. And you know, so we're, you know, trying to reinvigorate our employees. I'm going back out to all my contacts and asking them to. Make nominal contributions that you know collectively will add up to something meaningful. And, you know, I know Doctor Rahman and his group, they're all doing the same thing. So I think we're within striking distance. You know, we're gonna have to do a lot of work. It's gonna be, it's gonna be, it's gonna be right down to the wire. So, but, you know, it's been a good 24 days so far and we just have to finish strong. So that's the update for this week. Zampona, you're going to be back next week. I'll be back on Sunday.
