The National Council for Mental Wellbeing and National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) have launched a multistate pilot to strengthen #CCBHCs, supported by a historic investment from Ballmer Group Philanthropy. Great news
This is such an important investment in the CCBHC model and the communities in Illinois, Kansas, and Michigan. The focus on sustained state-level technical assistance, crisis response, and SUD/integrated care is exactly what’s needed to move beyond pilots and into lasting system change. When I was leading CCBHC implementation at the organizational level, National Council’s tools and TA were central to how we strengthened access, documentation, and care coordination for high-risk youth and families. It’s exciting to see this next chapter of CCBHC work taking shape.
A wonderful philanthropic investment! 💕🎉🙌
