Navyaa Sharma’s Post

Missed parties. Skipped movies. Turned down weekend plans.
Not because I’m an introvert.
But because I had a goal that mattered more than temporary fun. I wanted to build a career I’d be proud of. While many around me chose the usual routine, I chose to push a little harder than what felt comfortable. - Early mornings spent practicing coding instead of sleeping in - Evenings dedicated to revising concepts when I could have chilled - Replaced binge watching with interview prep - Faced jokes about being too serious or too focused I wasn’t the smartest.
I wasn’t the most confident.
But I was consistent. And that made all the difference. There were days I felt left out.
Days I questioned the sacrifices.
Days I wondered if I was overdoing it. But slowly, the results started showing.
And finally I got job offers from Google and Microsoft .
Today, when someone reaches out for guidance or motivation, it reminds me why staying committed is worth it. If you are choosing long term growth over short term comfort, keep going.
You might not see progress every day, but one day it will all make sense. ✨ #SoftwareEngineering #Motivation #TechCareers

Long term focus always feels lonely in the moment, but it pays back with clarity and opportunities that shortcuts never give.

The grind doesn’t always feel worth it in the moment, but looking back, it’s all the small, consistent choices that add up.

Hi Navyaa Sharma, one quick question. In the coming days with AI heavy, problems solving, DSA interviews will still be relevant?

Consistency looks boring in the moment but it compounds in ways shortcuts never do Navyaa Sharma

Consistency beats talent when focus meets action. Navyaa Sharma

Great 👍 "Sacrifice", the word gives an indication of losing/missing something in time. Here, it's material contentment. One gains immeasurable inner strength and human values in this journey. And nobody talks about it. Share them. Inspire. Those are the crafted diamonds that stay forever.

Truly inspiring, Navyaa Sharma. Your journey is a powerful reminder that consistency, discipline, and long-term focus often matter more than raw talent. The sacrifices you’ve highlighted resonate deeply with anyone striving for meaningful growth. Stories like yours motivate countless aspiring engineers to stay committed to their goals. Congratulations on everything you’ve achieved — and on inspiring others along the way.

Consistency beats everything...

There’s a recurring pattern in our society where working for "FAANG" is often seen as the ultimate benchmark of success. This isn’t about capability—India has long been a global leader in intelligence, mathematics, and innovation. The roots of this mindset go back to the colonial era, where being validated by foreign systems became a symbol of status and security. Unfortunately, For many middle-class families, that legacy still shapes aspirations today.
