🤔 My thoughts on today's HRCI Webinar... ⬇️ Thank you to our host and panelists! Lana Peters, Kamaria Scott, Matt Rieck, MBA, Jason Lauritsen, and Sarah Richardson! My top takeaways: 1. The presence of AI in HR has the potential to "check us" and eliminate bias (however, there is still a danger of building your bias into the AI tools you're using- so proceed with caution) 2. Managers still need to "fact check" AI! While it's such a useful tool to identify patterns and consolidate data, it does not answer the "why" behind your employee's performance data. Don't let your managers outsource their responsibility to AI! 3. The PIP model is outdated. It is only as effective as the company's/manager's ability to stick to the plan and follow the strict cadence of documented follow up. Agree? Disagree? Something that truly resonated from Nickle LaMoreaux during her keynote: "Don't automate bad processes."
