You should release the best models for paying Pro users, too! Maybe cap the “Pro” usage but don’t get greedy because it’s never been easier to vote with our feet.

The monthly MAX subscription is so dramatically expensive that it’s more cost-effective for me to use the Pro plan together with Claude MAX for $100, or/and even the $20 Pro plan plus an optional OpenAI subscription with Atlas. It still comes out more economical, with the added benefit of Claude Code. In this case, I really don’t see any meaningful benefit in Perplexity MAX for $200 + VAT.

¡Excelente avance! 🚀

Huge congrats to the Perplexity and Anthropic teams. Getting Claude Opus 4.5 into Max turns every search into a live reasoning lab, excited to see what people build on top of this!

model choice in UX actually shifts power back to users from algorithmic defaults - this matters more than the models themselves for long-term adoption

Fresh update. Opus four point five in Max feels like a strong lift for deep work and long thought tasks.

What makes it more special than the previous models?

Great to see Perplexity the powerhouse of AI models ✨ usage within limits for pro subscribers would be great too ✌️

Huge update. Claude Opus 4.5 inside Perplexity Max will make research much faster. Excited to see how this improves workflows for teams that rely on deep insights every day.

Nice - time to see if it can handle the "explain this in human language" tests a bit better😄
