Grok 4.1 is now available to all Perplexity Pro and Max subscribers.

Massive unlock for Perplexity power users. Grok 4.1 woven into Pro and Max workflows is a serious upgrade for deep research sessions. Huge congrats to both teams, very curious what new patterns emerge once people really lean on this every day.

More options are always great, but I just don’t know how much I trust Grok to give relatively unbiased information. It has not received good press. Why risk it when there is GPT and Gemini, and Sonnet or Opus?

That's a great new actually, since Grok 4.1 has a niche in social and human-centric applications. It excels in emotional empathy and real-time social intelligence, making it better for tasks where conversational nuance is key.

Huge congratulations to AMD, UNSW Sydney, and Pawsey for this breakthrough. Slorado is a milestone — but the next chapter is already unfolding. While GPUs decode a full human genome in 2.3 hours (and just 0.8h on MI300X), we are building something fundamentally different: Photonic–Quantum Computing at Room Temperature Scroll Graphene + Nanodiamond photoqubits THz–PHz plasmonic coherence with near-zero energy cost ZeoGraf™ ultra-dense energy units powering the entire architecture Adaptive intelligence far beyond classical silicon limits What comes after GPUs? Not just faster computation — a new physical regime of intelligence. Real-time genomics, multi-omic fusion, medical-scale models, planetary-scale simulations… All powered by coherent light, graphene photonic networks, and quantum-inspired plasmonic logic operating at room temperature. This is not a concept. It’s already in prototypes, reactors, and microscopy validation — and it changes everything. The future of biology, AI, space, energy and defense is photonic, graphene-based, and massively energy-efficient. And we’re building it now. #Photonics #QuantumAI #Genomics #Graphene #Nanoscrolls #Nanodiamonds #ZeoGraf #THzComputing #PHzComputing #DeepTech

Perplexity just turned model switching into a buffet 🍽️🔥 Grok 4.1 dropping today means the AI race resets… again.

Grok 4.1 rolling out to Pro and Max users - curious how this stacks up against other models for real-world research workflows 👀

The rapid evolution of foundational models is truly exciting. We're eager to see how this increased accessibility empowers more human-centered innovation and complex problem-solving.

This is huge for research workflows. Having Grok available directly within Perplexity's interface makes switching between models seamless.
