Striking difference. Not to be picky (and not to criticize the conclusion) but a case of cherry picking numbers.
It is not a crime to not get a vaccination to prevent measles. This means that you stand a better chance of getting infected. That’s not just YOUR problem. It also means that you are now a carrier who can spread the disease to other people. It is not unlike not covering up when sneezing in a crowded room. It’s not illegal, but it does show gross lack of consideration for the health of the people around you.
Can someone please explain why measles cases were so low up to 2020? I come from a generation where immunity was achieved by getting childhood diseases. Sadly, measles was not one that I had. At this point, I am not about to take a vaccine for it.
The rise is even worse in Canada 1 case in 2020 and over 5000 in 2025. That's like 50x per capita higher in Canada. This is clearly not US policy driven or we'd need to identify which vaccine policies the US has that are better than Canada.
