Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) a leading provider of dermatology care in the area is proud to announce the addition of, Jessica Fisher, FNP, to its Dermatology team. Jessica will see patients at PMC’s Dermatology locations in Southern Pines, NC and Sanford, NC. Jessica earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Duke University, Durham, NC. She also holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of San Diego, San Diego, CA and received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Public Health from Westmont College, Santa Barbra, CA. Jessica chose a career in healthcare because it challenges her to grow and offers continuous learning opportunities, particularly in the ever-evolving field of dermatology. Her care philosophy emphasizes compassion, patient advocacy, and inclusiveness. She states, “I believe in meeting patients where they are, culturally, emotionally, and medically, and empowering them throughout their healthcare journey with education and innovative care.” Jessica strives to see each patient as a person first, leading with empathy, collaboration, and a strong commitment to high-quality care. Jessica has spent the past year with PMC, completing her clinical rotations and has seen firsthand the organization’s commitment to high-quality patient centered care. She also saw how PMC’s values of caring, accountability, respect, excellence, and service closely align with her own. In addition, Jessica shared, “the work environment at PMC Dermatology feels like a family and has inspired me to further my education to become a dermatology provider and to grow within the organization.” Jessica is originally from California, where her passion for skincare began. However, she is excited to now call North Carolina home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family as they are avid outdoor enthusiasts, and you can find them camping, mountain climbing, biking, skiing, and fishing.
