BUFFER BERRIES! Take a look at these berry-bearing riparian buffer species! All of these species thrive along Appalachian streambanks and work to restore stability to streambanks by holding the soil in place with their robust root systems. While not all of these berries are edible to humans, they all serve as habitat and food sources for Appalachian wildlife!
