Roku City isn’t just a screensaver—it’s a living world brought to life through close collaboration across Creative, Viewer Product, and Engineering teams. 🏙️ What started as a single cityscape has evolved into immersive neighborhoods that invite viewers to explore the stories they love, while giving partners a thoughtful, fan-first presence. 🔮 Those neighborhoods include: • 🕷️ The Spiderwick Chronicles, inspired by the Roku Original series • 🎄 WhoKnewVille, created in collaboration with Walmart • 🍍 A Paramount+ neighborhood partnership • 🪄 Wicked: For Good, bringing cinematic wonder to Roku City Each neighborhood follows the same philosophy: magic first, brand second. ✨ 🌟 As Tim Cook, Manager of Illustration Design, puts it: “Roku City’s core principle is surprise and delight. We spend a lot of time making sure neighborhoods feel like places fans want to explore, not ads, by putting the story and the magic first and letting the brand show up naturally.” It’s a great example of how cross-team collaboration here fuels innovation, protects the viewer experience, and reimagines what’s possible in streaming. 🚀 #WeAreRoku #RokuCity

I love Roku City!! It's one of the most delightful products of all time across domains and industries. I think we should do a case study on this :)

The Roku cities scratch a nostalgic itch! There’s something peaceful about watching them roll across the screen.
