Once again, the Connecticut Democrat-led state government wants to add more taxes to anyone who brings money to the bankrupt state which actually helps their economy. Senate President Pro Tem Martin M. Looney, D-New Haven is once again pushing for a “mansion tax” that would either impose a sales or property tax on homes over $1M. In a time when homes have pretty much doubled, the definition of “mansion” is extremely low. It’s California on the East Coast. And you know how great Gavin Newsom has done with his knucklehead ideas. Looney has been looney for years but that’s how socialists think. Handouts don’t work. Creating jobs does. Handouts are like drugs; get the people addicted and you forever have them in the palm of your hands. That’s socialism 101.
