Thinking about this Memorial Day weekend, I hope everyone remembers the sacrifices made by our troops and support them and our veterans (and their families) every minute of every day, as without them and their sacrifices, those cookouts and parties may not have been possible. I am thankful to my family members who served - my Uncle in WWI Europe; my Dad in the Army during WWII in CBI Asia; my father-in-law in the Marine Corps; my brother in the SAC during the Vietnam War; my son in the Marine Corps in Afghanistan; my daughter-in-law in the Marine Corps/Military Police; and my nephew who is a Navy aviator and currently on deployment.
Yes, we are the Home of the Free Because of the Brave! And that should ALWAYS be remembered!
