I don���t like real spicy stuff, so this should be fun. Doing it for the City of Round Rock. We got this. That���s got a little kick to it. We���re starting. My mouth is on fire. I can feel my teeth. What does that mean? I don't know. This year's proposed budget is $789.7 million, with $418.7 million of that going toward our Community Investment Program. So y'all want to get started? No. Which includes large capital improvement projects such as roads, infrastructure, parks and more. I need something hotter, though. That���s not hot enough. This budget is built on a property tax rate of 37.2 cents, which is up 2.4 cents from last year, Focusing on the right things and being as efficient as possible. I mean, that's what really has set us apart for for a long time. With 0.9 cents for public safety and 1.5 cents for voter approved bond projects. Starting to feel it? Yep. It is there. Ugh. I���m feeling it [laughing]. [laughing] Whoa! We try and respond to the needs and desires of of a community that wants to have a place that 40 years from now, our kids and grandkids want to come back to and get to experience the amenities and transportation systems that we put in place and have that continue to be a safe community. You know it's hot. It is hot. Oh, man. They get a little spicy here. Oh. It gets. I get choked up thinking about how bright our future is. Whoo! I don���t know how you���re talking, Chief, but go ahead. This budget helps us create places that bring Round Rock together. You gonna make it? This year���s budget shows that we live up to our mission of ���Not for self, but for others.��� I���m trying to focus on what you���re saying and Boyd is dying! This budget delivers smoother drives and reliable water for Round Rock. I���m rethinking life decisions right now. That one���s hot. This budget gives us the tools to work in alliance with our community, to provide public safety and promote a high quality of life in Round Rock. You good? Awesome. This year's budget is about keeping pace with our growth and making sure every tax dollar delivers on roads, safety, water and the amenities that keep Round Rock one of the best places to live.
