We're forever grateful for the amazing volunteers from Ghirardelli Chocolate Company who make the lives of our Club families sweeter one bite at a time. From coordinating an annual backpack & supplies drive for over 500 students, to serving thousands of world famous hot fudge sundaes and an imaginable amount of indulgent chocolates, our work wouldn't be possible without their support. We are lucky to get to work with their team in planning the Ghirardelli Golf Classic that benefits our 5,000 Club kids at our 24 sites. The team at Ghirardelli is the ultimate volunteer family and we truly benefit from their collective impact. THANK YOU!
April is National Volunteer Month! A perfect time to recognize the power of giving back and the impact it has on our communities, workplaces, and our own personal growth. When companies encourage employees to volunteer, it’s more than just an act of goodwill, it supports employees passions and provides added value beyond daily roles and responsibilities. Employee volunteering fosters teamwork, builds leadership skills, and strengthens company culture. Employees who engage in volunteer work often feel more connected, inspired, and engaged in their day-to-day work. At Ghirardelli, we believe that making a difference beyond the office is just as important as the work we do inside it. Whether it’s engaging in Earth Month Actions on Deed to unlock donations that plant trees or building playgrounds and refreshing play spaces with the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation, or supporting our local Boys & Girls Clubs of San Leandro right down the street from our factory & offices, every act of service helps build stronger communities, and stronger teams. Kudos to all the awesome Ghirardelli employees that show up to volunteer events and opportunities time and again, and continue to live our purpose both in and out of the office.
