This week, Professor Anthony Davis received the Royal Medal for Applied Sciences from The Royal Society for his pioneering work on glucose-binding molecules. Thirty years of work in Professor Davis' group laid the foundations. Then a visionary PhD student decided to take his research into the real-world to revolutionise diabetes management, and the wheels really started to spin. Ziylo was founded and, with it, our story began.
