Wildfire risk is rising across Tahoe and the West but innovation is lighting the way forward. This spring, we helped launch the Fire Smart Community Pilot in Incline Village, a groundbreaking effort to create Tahoe’s most fire-ready neighborhood. By combining advanced technology with community collaboration, the project identifies the mitigations that matter most to reduce risk. The Pilot was made possible through our incredible donors via our Smartest Forest Fund, which fuels innovative approaches to forest health. Together, we’re building a smarter, safer future for Tahoe.
