Generative AI isn’t replacing creatives it’s amplifying us. The conversation around AI and creativity has been intense, but here’s what I’m seeing in practice: the best work is happening when creative professionals use AI as a powerful tool, not a replacement. AI handles the repetitive stuff. Need 20 variations of a headline? Background removed from 50 images? A first draft to react to? Done in seconds. That frees us up for what actually matters strategy, storytelling, and the nuanced decisions that make work memorable. It’s also democratizing creativity in exciting ways. Smaller teams can now punch above their weight. Solo creators can produce at a scale that used to require entire agencies. But here’s the thing: AI gives you options, not answers. The creative judgment, the understanding of audience and context, the ability to know what’s on-brand and what misses the mark that’s still entirely human. The creatives thriving right now aren’t the ones ignoring AI or being replaced by it. They’re the ones learning to direct it, critique it, and use it to execute their vision faster.
