We were honored to welcome Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) Chairperson Fabrício Oliveira to Texas Children’s Hospital. During the visit, Chairperson Oliveira presented a plaque of appreciation to Vice President for Global HOPE Paola A. Alvarez-Malo on behalf of Lions everywhere, celebrating our commitment to improving childhood cancer care since 2019, and toured the Cancer Center and Mission Control with Dr. Joseph Lubega, Director of Global Hematology-Oncology Pediatric Excellence, and his team. "Proud to be a Lion and even more proud of our mutual passion for transforming cancer care for underprivileged children around the world," said Dr. Lubega.
