We had a very special visit last week from the Sedgeley Book Club! The group has been reading "Tunnel 29" — the gripping true story of an extraordinary escape beneath the Berlin Wall. Since we’re fortunate to have a piece of the Berlin Wall right here at the German Society, they thought it was the perfect place to bring their discussion to life. To top it all off, Anett M. was able to give them a personal tour — sharing her own perspective as someone who was born and raised in East Germany. The ladies were deeply engaged, full of great questions, and it was wonderful to see their interest in this important chapter of history. P.S: Curious to see the Wall yourself?
